ARES Corporation (Applied Research and Engineering Sciences) is an American privately-held small business engineering and technology consulting company founded in 1992 by Richard J. Stuart, Larry Shipley, and Amitava Ghose. It has won the Small Business Administration's Administrator's Award for Excellence four times.

In February 2009, ARES received the "George Low Award for quality and productivity excellence" from NASA
ARES is constructing a biodiesel plant with Blue Sun BioDiesel in Clovis, New Mexico. The plant would produce 15 million gallons of biodiesel every year using soy bean and canola oil.
