ARCA Sim Racing, or ASR for short, is a computer racing simulator that is still in development. It uses a similar coding to ISI's rFactor and is set to release from late February to early March. Pre-ordering is currently available. Sim Factory will host a lottery where a winner will be drawn from a list of people who pre-ordered the game. The winner of the lottery will recieve a Logitech G25 steering wheel combo cockpit package with $2599.00. The game has partnered up with many companies such as NRT Game Servers to help the game's development and financial needs. Upon the game's release 10 ARCA tracks will be available, however more tracks will be available via addons.
Content ASR will feature real life content. This will range from default car skins to tracks.
Cars The ASR will feature real ARCA stock cars including the Toyota Camry. The default skins will feature the actual race teams of ARCA
Tracks ASR will feature real ARCA approved race tracks such as Pocono and the Milwaukee Mile. Road Courses will not be featured in the game in its initial release, however it will be added on before the date in the real ARCA series.
Sanctioned Online Series Upon the game's release ASR will have an official sanctioned sim race league.
Professional Drivers Professional drivers have been know to be a part of the ASR's development team such as Jeremy Clements, Justin Allgaier and Kevin Swindell. Professional ARCA Driver Michael McDowell has even claimed that he used ASR as a serious simulation to help prepare for an actual race.
