Applied Information Technology in Chalmers University of Technology

Applied Information Technology (or Applied IT) is one of the 17 programs in Chalmers University of Technology. The program offers courses at both bachelor and master levels, in cooperation with the University of Gothenburg.
Courses are held in both of the Chalmers campuses in Gothenburg, with most of the bachelor courses being taught in campus Johanneberg. The following are programs taught in Applied IT:
Bachelor programs
Information Systems: IT, Users and Organizations (the information and language of instruction is Swedish)
Master programs
Interaction Design & Technologies
Interaction Design & Technologies (IDE) has many courses that focuses on designing the behavior of products, mainly digital but also with a focus on tangible ones. The program offers four specialization tracks:
* User interface design and information visualization
* Tangible interaction
* Entertainment, games and social media
* Game developer (with some focus on game design)

Intelligent Systems Design
Intelligent Systems Design (ISD) is no longer open for applications. The program was mostly focused on Artificial Intelligence, but also featured very few mandatory courses in comparison with other master programs at Chalmers University of Technology.
IT Management
IT Management (ITM) takes aspects of Information Technology and puts it in a Business perspective. The program is taught in Swedish only.
Learning, Communication and Information Technology
Learning, Communication and Information Technology focuses on Information technology as a platform or tool for learning and education. The program is taught in Swedish only.
Master in Communication
Master in Communication is a one or two-year program that specializes in different aspects of communication: in cultural, technological and professional levels.
