Degree programs at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila

Degree programs at the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila currently span to 53-single degree baccalaureate programs and 49 masters, doctoral, and graduate diploma offerings that lead to various specializations, or concentrations (majors) from the different academic divisions of the Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila.
Curricula
The PLM curricula, from the major academic programs to minimum course requirements, are based upon the prescribed curriculum of the Commission on Higher Education, but the University exercises full independence in altering its curricula.
The degree programs offered are based on the curricula proposed by the PLM faculty. Consultations with the business or industry engaged in the particular field or study are also sought. The participative involvement of practitioners in the formation of the courses of study is reflected in skills-oriented, community-directed and value-driven curricular programs of PLM.
In 2004, the University's Medium-Term Development Plan mainstreamed into the PLM education system some innovative programs and best practices as articulated in the academic programs that are market-based and responsive to the industry needs. Other management courses have also been integrated with emphasis on ethics to ensure that PLM graduates are steep with sound values and adhere to the highest ethical standards necessary in their chosen careers.<ref name="apo_01"/>
The students are also required to attend four Physical Education classes, and a choice from among Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) or Civil Welfare Training Service (CWTS) in the Department of Military Science & Tactics and the National Service Training Corps.
