Antony Oldknow (born 15 August 1939 Peterborough, England) is an American poet. He studied at the University of Leeds, University of Edinburgh, University of Chicago, and graduating form the University of North Dakota, with a PhD in English and French in 1983. He taught at North Dakota State University, and University of North Dakota. He teaches at Eastern New Mexico University. Cindy Hendershot is his student. He became a U.S. citizen in 1995. He lives in Portales, New Mexico. His work appeared in Antaeus, Asylum, Bloodroot, International Poetry Review, Montserrat Review, North Dakota Quarterly, and The Nation. He attended the 1971 University of North Dakota Writers Conference. He edits and publishes Scopcræft Press.
