Antonio Romano

Antonio Romano founded Studio Romano in 1980 and in 1991 subsequently created AReA of which he is Partner and Managing Director. In 1997, he founded the independent international network AReA, since 2004 named Inarea, with nine offices in eight countries.
He is responsible for strategic consultancy in the principle activity of brand identity.
Among his company’s most significant brand identity projects have been Acea, Aventis, Bosch Telekom, Capitalia, Cirio, Comune di Milano, Comune di Roma, Edison, Enel, Eni, Oregon Scientific, Pirelli RE, RAI, Rusal, Telecom Italia, TIM, Unesco, Venice Biennale. He is professor at the Faculty of Communication Sciences - Sapienza - University of Rome. Among the seminars and conferences given by Antonio Romano, the most important are those of the Istituto Superiore di Comunicazione, Rome 1997, the Masters Program by Ca Foscari, Venice (2002-2005), IULM, Milan (2001-2) and the Master Program in Organization and Communication, Sapienza, University of Rome (2003-4).
Antonio Romano has been honored by the Pantone Award, London (1993) and has been Design Ambassador and Honorary Member of ITC (International Trade Mark Center) since 1999.
