Anthony Arline

Anthony Danté Arline (born October 12, 1983 in ) is an American football corner back for the San Diego Chargers of the National Football League. He was originally signed by the Chargers as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Baylor. He played high school football in San Antonio, Texas at James Madison High School where he was a standout defensive back and wide receiver. After high school he participated in the 2002 U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He did not show up for the Chargers in camp 2007 and 2008 seasons.

Arline is the son of Robert and Helen Arline.
High School
He attended Madison High School, San Antonio, Texas, where he was coached by Jim Streety. In addition to lettering three seasons in football, earned four letters in track. He made 30 tackles as a junior. He was named the 2000 San Antonio Express-News Greater San Antonio Defensive Player of the Year. He had 42 tackles, four interceptions, five pass breakups and two fumble recoveries as a senior. He was a two-way player, playing as receiver, he also caught 17 passes for 506 yards and four touchdowns. He played special teams and returned four kicks for touchdowns (three kickoffs and one punt). He was named first-team All-District 26-5A at both defensive back and wide receiver. He also Earned honorable mention 5A all-state honors from the Texas Sports Writers Association. He was rated the nation's 30th-best safety by Rivals100.com. He was also listed among the state's 47 best defensive backs by Texas Football and was a Texas Top 300 pick
College
Arline attended Baylor University. In 2002, he redshirted as a true freshman. In 2003, he played in all 12 games with two starts to earn his first letter. He finished 2003 with 19 tackles, including 17 solos, to go with one fumble recovery and a pass breakup. In 2004, He started 10 of 11 games, earning him his second letter. He had 26 tackles, 20 of which were solo. Against Texas Tech, he recorded his first career interception which he returned six yards. In 2005, He saw action in 11 games and made nine starts as a junior. He was an honorable-mention All-Big 12 from the league's coaches. He finished with 24 tackles (15 solo). He also had three pass breakups, three interceptions, a fumble recovery and a blocked field goal. As a Junior, he played 592 snaps, earning him his third varsity letter. In 2006, as a senior, he was one of two returning starters in the Baylor secondary and the Bears' No. 1 cornerback. He graduated college with a Sociology major.
NFL
Arline was signed as an undrafted free agent by the San Diego Chargers. For an unknown reason, he did not report to camp in 2007 or 2008, but he is still listed on the roster.
