AnswerConnect.com is an American company which provides outsourced customer relationship management (CRM) services to global clientèle . Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, AnswerConnect employs local people from the surrounding Portland Metropolitan area . The company has clients throughout North America, Europe, and Asia.

History
*2002 - AnswerConnect was founded as an inbound answering service. Initially AnswerConnect was made up of a small number of call processing "agents" and third-party call processing technology.

*2004 - Expanding from simply answering inbound calls, AnswerConnect shifted focus to developing web-enabled agent desktop environments and integrated customer care support. Additional services offered by AnswerConnect from this point are; live order processing, appointment setting, event registration, call patching (connecting two parties via a live operator), and voicemail to email services.

*2007 - As part of the company's efforts to lessening its environmental impact (reducing its carbon footprint, cutting down on electronic waste, etc.), AnswerConnect began testing the use of remote (at-home) phone agents.

Operations and Initiatives
One of AnswerConnect's main initiatives is that all calls are answered by a live, courteous agent (as opposed to a machine) as quickly as possible, appreciated by many customers frustrated with automated systems . The company also focuses on after-hours and emergency relief solutions, serving as a back-up for such situations . This service is a large focus during the storm seasons .
