Anne Dyson

Annette Lysette Shaw (7 February 1939 - 10 February 1996), better known as Anne Dyson, was an English actress of film, television and theatre whose career spanned 31 years from when she began her career in 1965 to when she died in 1996 aged 57. She is best remembered for her role as Ivy in the 1979 film Yanks.
Early life
Dyson was born as Annette Lysette Shaw and raised in Manchester in England, UK. She was the daughter of a lawyer and a schoolteacher, and was educated at Alma Park Primary School and Abraham Moss High School.
She learned to become an actress at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School.
Career
Dyson made her acting debut in 1965, when she played "The Housewife" in one episode of The Villains. Dyson's other television credits include: Alice Spencer and Mrs Roberts in Z-Cars (1965-72); Miss Hansen in The Rat Catchers (1966); an Extra in The Public Eye (1966); Mrs Michelson in The Woman in White (1966); Mrs Bailey in Dixon of Dock Green (1966); Effie Spicer in Coronation Street (1968-69); Mrs Thomas in The Wednesday Play (1970); Maryia in BBC Play of the Month (1970); Miranda Kibble in Six Days of Justice (1973);
