Annapolis Micro Systems

Annapolis Micro Systems, founded in 1982, is a small business.  Annapolis Micro System specializes in designing and manufacturing rugged, embedded  products for high performance computing and digital signal processing for commercial and military markets.  Annapolis Micro Systems also offers application development tools, Corefire Next and Open Project Builder, which use graphical user interfaces to enable customers to design systems to solve challenging applications.
Annapolis Micro Systems has engineering labs and a surface mount assembly line to manufacture all of their products on site. Annapolis Micro Systems is in Annapolis, Maryland, USA.
Systems
Annapolis Micro Systems specializes in COTS embedded field programmable gate array (FPGA) boards and systems for high performance computing and digital signal processing. It offers a range of boards, including FPGA processing boards in PCIe, OpenVPX 3U, and OpenVPX 6U form factors; digital-to-analog boards; and analog-to-digital<nowiki/>boards. Annapolis Micro Systems also has training and technical support available to teach how to use their application development tools in the most efficient way possible.
Industry improvements
Annapolis Micro Systems has made a major change to industry standards in the FPGA systems industry. Annapolis Micro Systems the next generation of FPGA Mezzanine Cards. Originally, FMCs were designed to connectivity and flexibility to board designs. FMCs have primarily been capitalizing on parallel connections. FMC+, the next generation of FMC, improved on FMCs by adding more parallel connections. This evolution takes into account the industry changing to prefer serial connections because they have lower latency.
