Alpha Data Parallel Systems

Alpha Data Parallel Systems is a company specializing in the design and support of FPGA based computer systems. Headquartered in Edinburgh, Scotland, it has offices in San Jose, California and Denver, Colorado. Alpha Data was established in 1993 and provide embedded FPGA solutions for Military, Aerospace and other high performance computing applications. Applications deployed by Alpha Data are the Pick Up Processing Engine for the CERN particle accelerators, the computational heart of the Hydra Chess Computer and Computer and Imaging Processing for University of California at Berkeley's autonomous motorcycle in the DARPA Grand Challenge. Alpha Data FPGA platforms are also used in the High Performance Computing System at Paderborn Center for Parallel Computing.
