ANNA! (born 1993) is an American graffiti artist and videographer from Brooklyn, New York who has been active since 2016. She is known for tagging ANNA! in various locations in Manhattan such as tall apartment buildings and the NYC subway system. Some of her tags additionally contain the phrase ANNA! is a toy, a reference to graffiti slang that describes an artist who is deemed to be an annoyance or a novice. She has a 30-minute cable television show called ANNA TV that airs in Manhattan every Sunday evening. Art She has stated that she uses both spray painting and roller painting techniques in her art, which she uses to tag her alias on various locations in Manhattan. She states that her style was influenced by another graffiti artist she dated, who she watched roller paint from the bottom up as opposed to the top down. Explaining her alias ANNA!, she has stated "I thought that my name, “Anna” was way too structured, so I decided to add the exclamation point to offset that. Sometimes an exclamation point could be seen as sarcasm; I also wanted something that caught the eye." Exhibitions Her art has been found at the The Houston Bowery Wall in 2018, where it was painted on top of the work of London-based artist Lakwena, which Lakwena produced in collaboration with Instagram. Her work has also been featured at other exhibitions including 17 Art Gallery and Scrap Yard NYC.<ref name ="artnet" />
