Angelo Rules

Created by French animation studio TeamTo, Angelo Rules is an animated comedy series featuring Angelo, an 11-year dude who is always hatching a plan to get want he wants. Based on the French book collection Comment Faire Enrager… written by Sylvie de Mathuisieulx, illustrated by Sébastien Diologent and published by “Petit à Petit”.
The first season of Angelo Rules was successfully launched on France 3 on April 5th 2010.
Characters
Main Characters
Angelo Lawrence K.: Angelo is an 13-year old kid who concocts elaborate schemes and strategies to help himself get what he feels he deserves, or what he thinks his friends deserve. He’s a stop-at-nothing kind of guy, undaunted by any obstacle put in is way. The bigger the challenge, the bigger the plan.
Sherwood Forrest: Sherwood is Angelo’s best friend and the brains of Angelo's team. He is 13 years old. Sherwood can be skeptical of Angelo’s plans. Often, he’s the one to point out the possible logic flaws or potential problem with logistics. But once he’s convinced, Sherwood feeds off of Angelo and Lola’s infectious enthusiasm.
Lola: Lola is the 13-year old cool and upbeat girl next door. She’s Angelo’s oldest friend, they’ve known each other their whole lives. They are practically related. Lola almost never says “no” to one of Angelo’s far-fetched plans. In fact, she delights in a challenge. She’s the fuel to Angelo’s fire. She can spur him on to do something that Sherwood might say is a bad idea.She has a mobile phone and it can be very useful in some of Angelo's plans.
Lawrence K. Family
Peter Lawrence K.: 5 years old and he acts it. Peter literally bounces around the house like a chimpanzee pretending to be anything from a grunting caveman to the latest
superhero. He often pulls out the “baby” card to get his way. Peter can be a huge thorn in Angelo’s side. He’s mom’s favorite and she protects him at all costs. Even when Peter seriously wrongs Angelo, mom will always side with the younger, sweet baby Peter..
Elena Lawrence K.: Elena is Angelo’s trendy but very annoying 18-year old sister. Since she was the first born kid she expects the other do whatever she says. They don’t.
Mrs. Lawrence K.: Mrs. Lawrence is the main decision-maker in the family. She’s in charge of the operational workings of the home/family (schedules, duties, rules) which can be overwhelming at times. Mom constantly tries to maintain balance and peace between the kids. From afar she does a miraculous job of staying on top of it all.
Mr. Lawrence K.: Whereas mom wears the pants in the family, Dad is more malleable. He has a boyish immaturity and has been known to stoop to Angelo’s level and argue about what to watch on TV. Dad also has been known to side with Angelo, respecting his tenaciousness and charming spirit.
Joe Momma: Joe Momma is the family cat. Basically she's the chore no one wants to deal with.
Mr. Bubbles: Mr. Bubbles is the family Goldfish. Basically he's the chore no one wants to deal with.
Grandma Lawrence K.: Angelo, Peter and Elena's grandmother first appearing in the episode "The Casserole".
Angelo's Teachers
Mr. Foot: Angelo’s high minded stick-in-the-mud teacher at school. Mr. Foot is naturally suspicious towards kids, especially Angelo. He talks using pompous maxims. He feels a kinship with Sherwood, the only one of his students he respects on an intellectual level. He confiscates your stuff without warning, delights in giving pop quizzes, censors student films projects, and more and fact his first name is Owen J. Foot.
Coach Zonka: Ball-buster of a gym coach who never lets his students catch their breath. Zonka is a health nut and if Angelo gets an answer wrong, he’ll tell him to drop and give him twenty push-ups. He’s got a healthy ego and loves to reminisce about his athletic feats.
Ms. Perla: A good-natured, free-spirited fine arts teacher in Angelo’s school. Everyone loves Miss Perla’s classes and her positive energy. She’s the complete opposite of Mr. Foot. So it only seems obvious the two teachers would have a slight crush on each other. Of course, she’s an Angelo fan! and fact her first name is Bayan Perla.
Teenagers
Alonzo: One of the teenagers at school. Alonzo is very sporty and is always chosen to be a captain on one of Coach Zonka's exercises.
Clyde: Also a teenager from school. Clyde is chosen to be the captain of the opposing team on Coach Zonka's exercises.
Hunter Fingers: Elena’s sometime cocky boyfriend. Hunter’s the local teenage hunk (and obstacle) who works at Adventureparkland, the local adventure themed amusement park. Hunter takes great pride in flaunting his authority and usually smarts off to anyone younger than him.
Brandy: Another commonly seen teenager. She falls in love with Elena's boyfriend, Hunter.
Arthur Fingers: Arthur is Butter Fingers and Hunter's brother.
Schoolkids
Walter Manetti: The school bully in Angelo’s class who has been held back so many times no one knows how old he really is. His fists are faster than his brain.
Butter fingers: Sweet, but uncoordinated kid in Angelo’s class. Angelo and friends often help him out and it doesn’t hurt that his dad owns Adventureparkland. Hunter is his older brother.
Monkey Boy: Monkey Boy is one of Angelo's classmates he is good climbing.His real name is Eathan
Monica: Monica is one of Angelo's classmates. Most people think she is pretty. She is in love with Sherwood, but Butterfingers is in love with her.
Blonde girl: Blonde girls named is unknown. She is one of Angelo's classmates.
AJ: AJ is one of Angelo's classmates.
Cooper: Cooper is Manetti's little brother.
Minor Characters
Damien Burst: Damien is the egotistical star artist at Mrs. Lawrence's gallery. He also does photo jobs around town like taking school photos or being the photographer for “Skate Rat” magazine during a skateboard exhibition.
Cupcake Cathy: She owns the Snack Shack, the local hang out. Cathy is known for her delicious cupcakes as much as she is for being a curmudgeon.
Ollie Van Dunk: Skateboard pro and a local legend. Angelo and friends idolize Ollie for his many skate talents as well as his line of rad skateboards.
Cindy: Cindy is Lola's older cousin.
Granny: Granny is an old woman.
Shopkeeper: Shopkeeper is the British owner of the store.
Tv Reporter: He was doing the News.
Mr. Forrest: Mr. Forrest is Sherwood's dad.
Mrs. Forrest: Mrs. Forrest is Sherwood's mom.
Mr. Fingers: Mr. Fingers is Butter Fingers dad.
