Anchal Vohra is an Indian journalist and TV correspondent. She is also a fellow of the Observer Research Foundation. Career Vohra is a columnist for Foreign Policy. She reports from Lebanon for Voice of America. Vohra was a TV correspondent for Al Jazeera based out of Beirut. She was a former correspondent and presenter with NDTV in India. She has contributed to The Atlantic, The Times of London and Newslaundry. She was a Deutsche Welle correspondent and the foreign affairs editor and TV presenter for CNN-IBN. She reported on Cyclone Phailin in Odisha from the ground. In 2016, she interviewed the Dalai Lama. Awards Anchal Vohra, while working in NDTV 24x7, won the 'CNN Young Journalist of the Year 2007' award in the television category for her story on 'Abuse in Ghaziabad Ashram'. Personal life Anchal Vohra survived the 2020 Beirut explosion, though she was injured and her house damaged. She is married to a German filmmaker and investigative journalist.
