Anabond Limited, established by two scientists of , Kalpakkam in 1979 after they resigned from IGCAR. Their main products are engineering adhesives and sealants which are used in automobile and engineering product manufacturing, electrical and electronic products manufacturing and maintenance of these equipments. It was established in a small area and only two people working when it was begining its operation. Now it has well established R&D centre at Perungudi, Chennai and production facilities in Chennai, Pondichery and in Meghalaya. The R&D centre is led by eminent scientist and assisted 25 other scientists in different areas like anearobic adhesives, epoxies, silicone sealants, rubber based adhesives etc. They also joined their hands with ISRO and DRDO in developing few vital products for them to be used in their space and missile programmes. Anabond has got a well established marketing network by setting up branches at strategically important areas and wide spread dealer network. They also have entered in joint venture with global leaders like Essex Automotive a unit of Dow Chemicals of USA and Taoka Chemicals a unit of Sumitomo Group of Japan.
