Amsterdamsche roeibond

General
The Amsterdamsche roeibond is also known as the ARB. The ARB is a regional bond that gathered over 30 connected rowing club since it was founded in 1925. There are in total 7000 rowers connected to the ARB.
The board always consists out of a chairman, a secretary, a treasurer, someone who’s dealing with everything in Amsterdam, someone who deals all the youth regatta’s, someone for the adult regatta’s, and a Central Purchasing Committee also known as a CIC.
What the ARB does
* Assistance to member clubs and rowing in general, through active participation in talks.
* Organization of the Head of the River
* Organisation of the annual national regatta’s on the Bosbaan
* Organizing regional regatta’s
* By letting pilots at the Bosbaan
* Selling rowing equipment through the Central Purchase Committee (CIC)
* Promotion of disabled rowing through ASMR
* VBWJfonds management and assignment subsidy encouraging junior rowing
