Amol Goel is known for his work with socio-economic communities worldwide. In 2014 he founded Helpost, a worldwide crowdsourced human powered search engine to let people access their local communities for any kind of help and information. Today helpost has chapters in various cities like Istanbul, Kabul, New Delhi, Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, and has a social media outreach of 250,000 people and growing. In 2014, he also started with an Instagram project INDIAPICTURES, which has gathered him appreciation from photography communities all over the world. It has become a space for photographers all over the world to share their work on India. His opinion on political issues has often been quoted by prime media. |
