Amir of Bimlipatnam

The founder of Bimlipatnam is the Muslim family. One branch of family came from Hyderabad state as a jagir was given to them in Bimlipatnam and the other branch of family came from Nagapatnam as traders, and later on became the biggest zamindars of the Bimlipatnam. The estate consisting of vast tracts of land consisting of several villages in the Bimlipatnam and the founding member was a VI class Magistrate and can fine up to Rs.500 in civil and criminal. The Bus Complex of Bheemunipatnam is donated by Darbar Saheb Bahadur Khader Saheb who was given a 2nd class Knighthood by the British government. The graveyard for Muslims and the only mosque in Bimlipatnam was donated by Darbar Saheb Bahadur Khader Saheb. The magistrate legacy was hereditary hence the heirs were all ruling prince of the zamindari estate. The famous bollywood actress Zarina Wahab from “Chit Chor” fame married to a famous bollywood actor Aditya Panscholi belongs to the other branch of the family of House of Bhimli. Since there is no primogeniture in the House of Bhimli hence there were Begums and the younger sons who had become the ruling princes and princesses.

#Darbar Sheikh Nawab Sheikh Altaf Hussain born 1971 and married Begum Mirza Shabana Begum from Mughal family and has issue. As a child he studied in SFS School in Seetammadhara and then studied in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He then moved to Hyderabad and studied in St. George's Grammar School finished his Senior Cambridge which is 12 standard and went on to study B.Com from Badruka College of Commerce once ranked #2 in India. He then went to USA to study BBA in Northwood University and then transferred to Alabama A & M University. Then he came back to India and did MBA from Osmania University in Hyderabad and was awarded best student of the college. Currently pursuing PhD in International Marketing from Swiss University residing in Hyderabad. His interests are playing polo, shooting, fencing etc.
The hereditary sheikdom has fallen on him to take care of his estate which has dwindled down to few acres from once when the principality consisted of few square kms and the richest in Vizag. The zamindari title Darbar Sheikh of Bimlipatnam, head of the family Amir-e-Bhimili and titular Nawab is crested on him.
