Alternative versions of fictional characters
|
While most works of fiction do not feature aging characters, several well-known fictional characters have received spin-offs which depict them in different forms, and some (such as Superman, Lord Voldemort and Sailor Moon) have received alter-egos. Some may even have a counterpart or a family relative who is similar to them with some minor differences. This concept is commonly found in comics, animation, video games and, to a lesser extent, live-action and literature.
