Patrice King Brown

Patrice King Brown (born 1955) is a former news anchor who worked at CBS owned & operated KDKA-TV in Pittsburgh. Patrice now hosts the infomercial for Procera AVH brain enhancer.
Life at KDKA-TV
Patrice King Brown was hired at KDKA-TV, Pittsburgh in 1978 as a host for Pittsburgh 2Day (1978-1990), a popular talk/variety show, which was also the highest rated local program broadcast in the Pittsburgh market for ten of the twelve years Patrice was co-host. With the job, she had the privilege of interviewing local and national superstars of that time. After hosting Pittsburgh 2Day, Patrice began anchoring at KDKA. She currently anchors newscasts alongside Stacy Smith at 4 and 6 pm and with Ken Rice at 11 pm. After suffering a torn Achilles tendon in February 2009, she returned in May 2009 to her normal anchor duties. Brown announced on January 18, 2011 that she will be retiring at the end of the month. She has been at the station since 1978, where she started as the morning news anchor. As of January 28, 2011, Patrice King Brown has retired from KDKA-TV at the age of 55.

Life after KDKA
Patrice currently hosts the Procera AVH infomercial (30 minute program). At the beginning, she is identified in a 'super' as Award-Winning Anchor Woman and Investigative Reporter.
Brown was also hired in 2011 to front a series of television commercials for the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) to help the global medical enterprise recover from the PR disaster that resulted from their decision not to renew their contract with Highmark, resulting in the loss of access to preferred, in-network prices for use of UPMC physicians for Highmark's 3 million customers.
