Alpha Sigma Pi (ΑΣΠ) is a social sorority that was founded on December 5, 1914 at the University of Redlands in Redlands, California.
They have since then continually maintained themselves as upstanding members of both their sisterhood and the campus at large. They internalize their motto "not for ourselves alone" as Sigmas are well known throughout the service community. They can be found working at soup kitchens, visiting the elderly, raising money for research, helping to build houses, and donating items to those in need. Women in Sigma are involved in many facets of campus life including Residence Life, Orientation Mentors, Social Affairs, K-DAWG Radio, I'm Going to College, the Theatre Department, Panhellenic Council, GAMMA, and Order of Omega.
