Gameplay
Aloriah is is the name of the world where players start out controlling a Viking civilization. Each player is given a village in the starting climate zone. The goal of the game of the players is to settle new villages in other climate zones, grow their civilization and eventually be strong enough to fulfill the goals defined by the scenario they are playing. At the moment the only scenario available is the one where the world has been invaded by ancient dragons. Achievements can be collected during the game round by fulfilling sub-goals.
Aloriah is played in game rounds, where each game round could take up to several months to complete. When the goals of a scenario has been fulfilled the game round ends, civilizations are wiped out and players are given the chance to start out from the beginning in a new game round. Achievements that have been collected during a round are however saved onto the account of the players, thereby following the players into any future game round.
