Alona Elkayam

Alona Fromberg-Elkayam (born 1974) is an American artist, entrepreneur and creative director.
Her contributions to visual culture and design can be seen in the cutting edge integrated branding firm she founded in 2002, 321 Takeoff. Here, her team has helped build some of the most recognized brands of the decade. In 2008, she founded Far From Timid, a design company that licenses patterns for all surfaces. Far From Timid has pioneered a systematic business model for surface design that raises the bar for textile and surface designers worldwide.
Alona also writes a weekly column in the Huffington Post called "Best and Worst Dressed Brands of the Week." It is a weekly trend and culture bellwether.
She has won numerous awards including a Webby Award and a National Press Club Award and been written about in numerous publications from to the Wall Street Journal

Alona is the granddaughter of a living holocaust survivor.
