Allison Linn Woods (September, 12 1966 - present) is an outdoor writer and abstract painter in Seattle, US. She has been writing for the venerable publication Washington Trails, FKA Signpost, since 2000. Washington Trails is the official publication of Washington Trails Association. In 2003, she was named Gear Editor, and brought the publication forward as a highly-respected source for gear reviews under her leadership.
Allison is also an accomplished abstract painter, and has showed in many galleries and spaces in Seattle. Her work has been highly sought-after, and is in many local collections, including the Washington Art Consortium, work formerly held by the Safeco Art Collection.
