The Alley of Angels is a memorial located in Donetsk, Ukraine, for children killed during the War in Donbas. At the entrance there is an arch made of forged roses interwoven with machine gun ammunition casings, a symbol of war, and doves, a symbol of peace. Under the arch there is a granite slab with the names and ages of the killed children. The memorial was installed on territory controlled by the Donetsk People's Republic. A plaque with the inscription "Alley of Angels" was installed on May 5, 2015, and memorial was unveiled on May 5, 2015. The arch and the name plaque were installed in August 2015. On June 1, 2017, a monument to children of Donbas was installed by the Alley. It was created by Russian sculptor Denis Seleznev. The model for the monument was Kirill Sidoryuk (September 29, 2001 - August 29, 2014), who was killed while protecting his sister from shelling with his body. Following the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine several Russian-language TikTok influencers released videos, all with a virtually identical message, which specifically mentioned the memorial, and said that they "do not want to install new memorials". The videos were suspected to be part of a Kremlin-directed propaganda campaign.
