ALK Airlines or Air Lubo is a Bulgarian charter airline headquartered in Sofia, Bulgaria and based at Sofia Airport. History ALK Airlines was established in 2013 and started operations in May 2016 with three aircraft. The airlines operated mainly charter flights in summer season to and from Bulgarian seaside airports Burgas Airport and Varna Airport. The first official charter flight for the airlines is between Tel Aviv and Burgas carried Israeli tourists in May 2016. Fleet In January 2017 the airline operated with three aircraft, one Fokker 100 which is stored and two McDonnell Douglas MD-82. The average age of fleet is 29.2 years. The airline have added one McDonnell Douglas MD-83 in January 2017.
