Synopsis
Montes-Bradley focuses mainly on Alice Parker's collaborative work with Eudora Welty, Emily Dickinson, Archibald MacLeish while also making reference to her early prominence as protégé of conductor Robert Shaw.
Other aspects of the film reveal family connection such as the time the camera finds Alice and her daughter singing a cappella, or when Alice from the kitchen of her home talks about making bread or her convictions about race and poverty in America.
