Alexi Musnitsky

Alexi Musnitsky (born 1995) is a French and American pianist and composer.
Musnitsky graduated the Paris School of Business with a bachelor's degree and is currently in their Masters program. He began piano at the age of 4 and was trained by Russian classical pianist Marina Erokhina. In 2008 he won a first prize for young pianists at the 19th Flame international competition in Paris (19e Concours Flame).
Musnitsky is known for his soulful and emotional compositions. In 2014 he began composing his own music and was chosen by the Franco-Dutch Project Daybreak as an up-and-coming artist and gained international attention.
In 2015, after being discovered by Will Ackerman, Grammy winner and founder of Windham Hill Records, he released the album Zia, recorded at the Imaginary Road Studios produced by William Ackerman, Tom Eaton and Alexi Musnitsky and featuring 4-time Grammy winner Eugene Friesen, professionally reviewed and ranked on top of the Zone Music Reporter - ZMR and [http://www.oneworldmusic.co.uk/#/chart-show/4576642843 One World Music] charts.
Musnitsky received nominations for Best Piano Album (with instrumentation) and Best New Artist at the 2016 Zone Music Reporter ZMR Awards and Album of the Year at the 2016 Enlightened Piano Radio EPR Awards.
