In our practice, we draw upon many sources, including especially the Gnostic communities of the first centuries of the common era , as interpreted by our own experiences and needs as a community."

Apostolic Succession
The Alexandrian Gnostic Church claims valid Apostolic Succession from Coptic, Orthodox, Catholic, and Old Catholic lineages, as well as the Gnostic Doinel succession..
Liturgy
The AGC's central liturgical practice is the Liturgy of Divine Wisdom, a contemplative gnostic eucharist based on traditional liturgies. Individual practices include hesychia, the Middle Pillar, Centering Prayer, and Nepsis.
