Alexander Massa

Alexander Massa (born August 30, 1993) is the Republican candidate in the 2012 Massachusetts general elections for the seat currently held by Democrat John Scibak. Originally running as a Libertarian candidate, Massa changed his party affiliation in August 2011 to Republican.
Background
Massa was born in Holyoke, Massachusetts to Jennifer Rough and Walter Massa and grew up in South Hadley, Massachusetts, where he attendedand graduated from South Hadley High School. While in high school, Alexander was President of South Hadley High's Republican Club. He is currently an undergraduate student at Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts.
2012 Massachusetts General Court race
Massa is running for State Representative in Massachusetts' Second Hampshire District against incumbent Democrat John Scibak, who has been in office for five consecutive terms. He is a proponent of limited government, civil and individual liberty, and a non-interventionist foreign policy. He has expressed strong support for returning election of Senators to state legislatures, as is evident in essays written prior to his electoral bid. Massa is also strongly pro-life, and has expressed a desire to see the Roe v. Wade decision overturned. According to his official campaign website, Massa has been endorsed by Jonathan Loya, 2010 candidate for State Representative in Massachusetts' 8th Middlesex District and Clark McClelland, former USN ScO with the Space Shuttle fleet at Kennedy Space Center (from 1958 to 1992) and ufologist.

Alexander has appeared on the Liberty Underground Show hosted by Alexander Snitker and Adrian Wyllie out of Miami, Florida as a call in-guest to discuss his candidacy.
