Alexander Fleiss

Alexander Fleiss serves as Chairman and Chief Investment Officer of Rebellion Research Partners LP, a Global Macro hedge fund and financial advisory that invests across all asset classes and is based in New York.
Biography
Growing up in New York City, Alexander Fleiss's interest in mathematics began early as President of the Math Clubs at both The Buckley School, and the prestigious . He then went on to study Mathematics and Economics at Amherst College, where he met several of his future co-founders of Rebellion Research.
Prior to founding Rebellion Research, Alexander Fleiss worked as an Analyst and Software Engineer at Neuberger Berman, and a Principle at KMF Partners.
After his work at KMF Partners, Fleiss founded Rebellion Research with several of his former classmates from Amherst College. It made history as one of the first firms on Wall Street to begin utilizing Artifical Intelligence in making investment decisions.
In 2006, Fleiss was featured in Bloomberg Businessweek for his AI algorithms and was on the cover of the Wall Street Journal in July 2010 for his work with machine learning in finance and calling the Greek debt crisis.
In addition to running Rebellion Research as the current CEO, Alexander Fleiss has given numerous university talks and lectures. He currently teaches at the Cornell Financial Engineering School in Roosevelt Island, New York, at Yale University at the Fordham Business School and has taught an AI seminar at Amherst College since 2008.
Outside of his other work, Alexander Fleiss also serves as a Board Member of FLYJETS and the New York Food Truck Association (NYFTA).
