Alex Miranda

Alejandro Miranda the III (born December 27, 1984) is an American director, writer, producer and an award winning actor. Working primarily as a Creative Director for social media and TV at an international marketing company.
Alex was born in Los Angeles, CA, the son of a Puerto Rican father and a Spanish mother. His mother was an administrator at EMI records for 30 years, and his father was an aerospace engineer and former baseball player. Alex first appeared in an advertisement for the Nasdaq Stock Exchange when he was 8 years old and made his first film debut in Clubhouse Detectives. Afterwards, he appeared in The Lost World: Jurassic Park and made co-star appearances in Walker Texas Ranger and the Ellen Show. He was nominated for a Young Artist Award for Clubhouse Detectives and won a 1998 ALMA Award for outstanding cast in the PBS Mini-TV series, Foto Novelas.
In 2009, Alex graduated from Biola University with a B.A. in Mass Communications where he produced an award winning short film, A Quiet Fire. In 2012 he began his graduate studies at The Master's Seminary but dropped out after a year to move to Madison, Wisconsin. In 2013 he began working at Blend IMC, an integrated marketing company based in Madison.
