Alex Cox-Ashwood

Alexandre Cox-Ashwood (born 5 April 1998) is a French professional footballer who currently plays as a forward for Greenville Triumph in the USL League One.
Career
College
In 2017, Cox-Ashwood attended Lander University, where he made 12 appearances for the Bearcats over two seasons. In 2019, he transferred to Anderson University, in which he found the net 19 times in 44 games, also adding nine assists to his name. Thirteen of his goals came during his senior season, where he tied for the second-most in the conference. Cox-Ashwood also earned SAC Offensive Player of the Week and United Soccer Coaches National Player of the Week in September, as well as first team All-SAC, D2CCA All-Region, USC Southeast Region and USC scholar All-Region.
In 2021, Cox-Ashwood played in the USL League Two for Charlotte Eagles, making four appearances.
Greenville Triumph
On 31 March 2022, following a trial with the club, Cox-Ashwood signed with USL League One side Greenville Triumph. He made his debut for the team on 20 April 2022, appearing as a late extra-time substitute during a Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup fixture against Charlotte FC. He made his league debut on April 29, 2022, coming on as an 87th-minute substitute in a 1-0 win over Chattanooga Red Wolves.
