Samuel "Sam" Heenan (born 21 April 1991 in Port Moresby) is a New Zealand-Papua New Guinean footballer who plays for Welsh Premier League club Rhyl F.C.. Career The midfielder began his career by Central United in Kiwi land and came over to Shrewsbury Town F.C. Youth squad, in September 2008 to Rhyl F.C.. Heenan, who was also spotted by the Rhyl F.C. and linked with the Cambrian Academy, played in Britain to sign for Shrewsbury before joining the Lilywhites. He signed for the Lilywhites in September 2008 and after appearing as an unused sub in the away League match at Neath, he made his debut in the Loosemores Cup win over Airbus UK Broughton F.C. on 23rd September 2008, as a late substitute.
