Fight format
Prior to fighting, a weigh in and qualification for fighters is held at one of the Alaska Fighting Championship's sponsors, Rumrunners restaurant and bar in Anchorage. Afterword, the action moves to the main event at Sullivan Arena.
AFC events begin with a fist bump between fighters, and are held in a caged octagon before a live audience of ticket holders. Fighters battle for three rounds, or until one taps out or the fight is ended by the referee. Fights which end with no clear victor are decided by a panel of judges.
