Akshata Sen (; born Akshata Dev Sen on 12 December 1989). She is an Indian model who appears in Bollywood movies and also in television shows who currently works in Mumbai and other countries. Biography Early Life Akshata Sen was born in Kolkata, India to a Bengali Hindu family. Akshsta attended Birla High School, St. Joseph's College and Jadavpur University. Sen was trained with the Mamata Shankar ballet troupe for 12 years.and she trained in western dance forms, basketball, swimming and tennis. While in school, Akshsta pursued a career in modeling. Over the years, Akshata has done commercials like for Mirinda, Clinic All Clear, Maruti Alto, Jewellery and beauty products; she has done many fashion weeks even in Milan and Beijing. When Nilofer approached Akshata, she was unsure of which career to pursue and settled for fashion modeling. Her initial walks at fashion shows led fashion critics to praise her elegance on the cat-walk.
