Ajax is an orienteering and hill running club based in Dublin, Ireland and affiliated to the Irish Orienteering Association. Irish Champions A number of Irish Champions both male and female have been, or are, members of the club. Women's Champions 1979 Carey May 1980 Carey May 1984 Orla Cooke 1985 Deirdre NiChallanain 1986 Orla Cooke 1988 Deirdre NiChallanain 1989 Deirdre NiChallanain Men's Champions 1982 Eoin Rothery 1985 Eoin Rothery 1986 Peter Kernan 1989 Peter Kernan 1996 Colm Rothery Eoin Rothery was also Irish Champion in 1978 although he was not a member of Ajax at the time. Aonghus O' Cleirigh was Irish Champion in 1981, 1987, 1988 and 1993 and although not a member at the time has since been (and still is) a member of Ajax. See Also
