AJ Steeves (born Nov 5, 1992) is a Tony Award nominated Canadian born actor, singer, songwriter. In 2000, Steeves made his first theatrical debut as a child singer with the Glory of Christmas production at the Crystal Cathedral.
Biography Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Steeves began singing before he was in school, and gave his first public performance at age 9. He is best known for his participation in the Broadway Kids. Steeves attended Halifax West High School where he starred in his first major role as Captain Von Trap in the Rogers & Hammerstein production of The Sound of Music. Steeves eventually went on to perform the role of Fredrick in the Broadway production of The Sound of Music. He is well known in Eastern Canada for his live performances.

As a child star in 1997 Steeves had a role in the live production of the Glory of Christmas, Steeves performed a solo of What Shall I Give Him. This performance was broadcast on Pay-Per-View on the DirectTv network. He also appears in the VHS/DVD version and soundtrack. In 2005 Steeves won an online singing contest that allowed him to guest star for a single night in the Broadway production of . The producers of enjoyed the performance of Life Support so much stat they asked Steeves to return to 5 additional nights.
Personal life In 2007 Steeves experienced a personal tragedy when his parents, Jesscia and Robert Steeves, were murdered in their Halifax, Nova Scotia home. Steeves subsequently relocated in Calgary, Alberta Canada where he lives with his sister Andrea Steeves.
