Aircraft Sales Corporation

Aircraft Sales Corporation (est. 1984), is an aircraft dealer of preowned general aviation aircraft.
The firm specializes in jet aircraft acquisition, aircraft resale, and appraisal of aircraft.
The firm is responsible for nearly 4,000 aircraft resale transactions and is considered to be one of the leading aircraft brokers.
Early Years
The firm's founder and President is the son of noted and notorious aircraft seller Eli Graubart who owned Graubart Aviation that was started in the early 50's buying, refurbishing, and selling aircraft which by 1966 had resold one out of every 10 general aviation aircraft built.
Having started in a small office in the Northern Chicago suburbs, the firm concentrated on brokering small general aviation airplanes like the Cessna 172 and the Cessna 182 series along with various Piper and Beech aircraft also. This graduated into larger aircraft and by 1990 the rate of sales exceeded an average of 2 aircraft per week. By that time the company was selling nearly every type of general aviation aircraft to include Learjets, Cessna Citations, Westwinds and special use aircraft.
The 1990s
The 1990s brought a boon to general aviation sales and Aircraft Sales Corporation expanded into purchasing aircraft for its own account for resale. The firm bought and resold literally all types of aircraft from Piper Cubs to Boeing commercial airliners during this period. The 1990s brought a wave of dollar vs. foreign currency strength that this firm took advantage of by purchasing over 150 aircraft based in foreign countries over a 5 year period.
The 2000s
The company now focuses on aircraft acquisition work for companies and individuals along with subsequent resale of their acquisition clients aircraft. It continues to buy and sell aircraft for its own account and has established an office in Orange Beach, Alabama. Additionally, it holds a strong market position in aircraft appraisal.
