</noinclude> Adeoye Oroge (born February 22, 1983) better known as Ain Mosni is a rapper of Nigerian origin and has been regarded as a top notch rapper with intelligent lyrics and a rhyme delivery that is likened to Hip Hop veterans. Some say he has a similar voice texture to American rapper Common, others say he is reminiscent of Hip Hop legend Rakim. A lyricist extraordinaire in every sense of the phrase; he was born and raised in Nigeria and he is one of the few rappers that is placed in high esteem for his gift of delivering songs with notable content. A lot of people still find it hard to believe that he hasn't spent a substantial part of his life in America because of his impeccable rhyme delivery. His wealth of talent and intense story telling abilities has placed him on the lips of many fans across the globe. He has been dubbed the 'Revolution' in many hip hop circles in Africa and beyond. The Name The name Ain Mosni means to be alert at all times and can also mean a heightened sense of awareness. It means to be awake. The name was cleverly derived by spelling the word 'Insomnia' backwards. In June 2010, the artist formerly known as Rogueman changed his name to Ain Mosni Rogueman is now Ain Mosni Overview Ain Mosni was attracted to the Hip Hop music genre and inspired to perform the arts by rap artists like the Notorious B.I.G, Nas, Jay-Z and Canibus. Songs of the late Afro beats pioneer and human rights' activist, Fela Anikulapo Kuti, also helped to mould his mind in the area of lyrical content and getting messages across to the listener. In the course of obtaining a university degree (B.Sc Biochemistry) he was part of a duo called Demphis and Rogueman. Various recordings were made during this period and it undoubtedly inspired him to take up a career in music. His love for music does not end at the artistic side as there is also a business minded approach to his career as he recently acquired a Masters degree in Music Business Management (MA MBM) from the University of Westminster, London, United Kingdom. It is likely that he is the only rapper from Nigeria with an MA in Music Business Management. This claim is open to contest. The artist formerly known as 'Rogueman' released a mixtape in October 2010 called 'Stop Sleeping' hosted by DJ Don X. This endeared him to more listeners and has cemented his place as a musical force to be reckoned with in Nigeria and the world over. Chronicles Ain Mosni used to be referred to as 'Rogueman'. On a TV program called 'Music Makers' that aired in 2005 on the Nigerian Television Authority Abuja, the host asked him what the name 'Rogueman' meant. He said it was an acronym for 'Rhymes Of Great Unparalleled Excellence'. His music career kicked off in the city of Abuja with his affiliation with Impact Records where he hooked up with the producers Abiz and Numba. In 2006 he performed at the Big Brother Nigeria eviction party event. Live performances under his belt include the Abuja Carnival 2007, Benson & Hedges product launch (Rothman's Mild) and a lot of other shows that had acts like D'banj, Darey, Modenine, Rugged Man, Olu Maintain as headliners. His first official single Dem Say was very promising but his audience were localized to the city of Abuja and hip hop lovers in northern Nigeria. Commercial success in Nigerian music can rarely be achieved without having a following in Lagos state. In 2008 he made his presence felt in Lagos by releasing three singles namely 'Hammer Time', 'Ringtone' and 'Dem Say'. The songs spread around really quick and the song 'Dem Say' got played on the 'Top 7 songs at 7' on the popular Lagos radio station 'Rhythm FM' 94.7; a subsidiary of Silver bird Group. In 2009 his buzz caught the attention of the legendary DJ Jimmy Jatt who invited him to grace his program 'Jimmy's Jump Off' Later in 2009 he moved to London to acquire his Masters in Music Business Management from the University of Westminster On the 19th October, 2010 he released a mixtape called 'Stop Sleeping' hosted by DJ Don X.
