The core of the experience is engagement with Aiesec, when a person gets familiar with the organisation and its vision. Starting with this point, this person can begin an activity by participating in the Global Exchange Program (GIP) or the Global Community Development Program (GCDP). These two programs are the main products that AIESEC Aarhus, offers for the local society. GIP is an internship track, students may choose to attend abroad for up to 12 months, and the GCDP is focused on making an impact on international community by offering a student's volunteer work in a needed society. Creating a life-long connection, the last stage of AIESEC experience carries the student's interaction with the companies and the efficient application of their learned skills in building their future careers. For members All members of AIESEC Aarhus, start by getting familiar with the organisation, go through an introduction to the organisation in order to learn about its purpose and connect with values and make an impact, attend educational seminars and integration trainings and only afterwards they can take responsibility in a particular area or department. This means that the new member can choose to get the experience he or she is interested in doing and developing new skills. Next, members may decide on whether to take a leadership position, go abroad for an internship, be a part of the global community development program, or excel to the national team support.
