Agim Murtezi

Agim Murtezi, also known as Murizzi, is a Kosovo-Albanian soldier of the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) who has been indicted by the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY). Murtezi was one of four men named on an indictment concerning the Lapušnik prison earlier this year - they are accused of abusing and murdering Serb prisoners during the Kosovo War of 1999. A man also named Agim Murtezi was mistakenly arrested and brought to The Hague, but was released when it was determined he was not the person under indictment. |
