Agha Iqrar Haroon (born 1965) is a Pakistani Journalist and founder of an organization ESP (Ecotourism Society Pakistan), which was officially documented in May 1997. He also remained an advisor and consultant to the . Early life Agha Iqrar Haroon grandson of Maulana Hifz-ur-Rehman started his career as Cultural tourist guide and a freelance journalist in year 1983 at the age of 18. later on when he moved to college GCU Lahore he became President of Hiking and Mountaineering Club (HMC) GCU and an important figure of debating society at GCU lahore. Education Registered as P.H.D (Anthropology) scholar in Quaid -e- Azam university Islamabad. Master in Philosophy (groups development) form Government College Lahore. (1989) Bachelor degree in Social work (group management) and Psychology (group Psychology) from Government College Lahore. (1986) Intermediate certificate in Psychology and Philosophy from Government College Lahore. Journalistic career Agha Iqrar Haroon is one of the committed journalist who started his career at the age of 18 as freelance journalist and later on joined Progressive Press International (PPI) from where he started his actual career. He is also known as first Pakistani who launched a news channel Waqt TV at the age of 43 as Head Of News & Current Affairs.
