Afco-Skynet

Afco-Skynet is a Florida-based Funk DJ duo, part of the Funky Breaks scene. Afco (Phillip Wade Davison) and Skynet (Brian Charles Lewis) were both raised in Florida and began collaborating in the mid-1990s. They focus on breakbeat as a duo, and separately also play Nu Skool breaks, House, Techno, Electro and Hardcore.
Beginnings
The U.S. release of their underground tape series Skyco Solar Breakin first gained them attention. They DJ'd at the Outerlimits nightclub in the mid-90s, then had a residency at the Rum Shack in Sarasota.
Production career
Afco-Skynet created their own Electronic dance music label, SKYCO Productzens, with the help of other local artist in 1998-99, doing mixing, mastering, engineering and production work at the Bass Bin Studios in Sarasota. It has three vinyl releases and many DJ mixes.
True Skool Music was formed by Skynet/Tyler Durden in 2006 as a second imprint for Skyco Productzens.
