AdvocateKhoj.com is a free legal information web portal which provides for individuals to find lawyers for their legal needs and for lawyers to get leads matching their legal specialty. It is a joint venture between India based Neosys, Inc and USA based Nubia, Inc. AdvocateKhoj is based at Visakhapatnam, India. The site was a finalist for the "Best IT Implementation of The Year 2009" conducted by PC Quest Magazine. Operation AdvocateKhoj is a communication platform to help people find lawyers for their legal problems, including family law, criminal law, real estate, bankruptcy, personal injury, immigration, and intellectual property. AdvocateKhoj charges lawyers a membership fee to participate in the service, while potential clients access the site for free. Clients answer questions online at the AdvocateKhoj website to identify the type of service required, and relevant lawyers are notified. The client is able to review responses from lawyers and also check their credentials in order to decide which lawyer, if any, to contact. Law Library The AdvocateKhoj Law Library is a legal resource for consumers in India. It includes over 6000 legal forms including legal tips, areas of law, legal forms, agreements, Supreme Court judgements, bare acts, rules and a glossary. The "Areas of Law" section of the Law Library contains information on 110 legal categories.
