Adam Vanderloop

Adam Vanderloop is a Professional Wiffleball Player in the National Wiffleball League. He plays as the Las Vegas Sluts. On May 17th, 2009 he broke the ALL TIME K'S RECORD passing Trevor Penrose. He gave up Sean Hernandez' 80th homerun which he broke.

Adam Vanderloop made his Wiffleball debut on June 16th, 2007 against Sean Hernandez
Recruit
On June 14th, 2007 Adam Vanderloop was recruited into the National Wiffleball League. He had a pretty good Rookie year. he had 49 strikeouts (most ever by a rookie) 10 Homeruns and 38 hits. Adam Vanderloop was a rising wiffleball star. He lost in the first round of the playoffs in 2007, no one will ever forget his 22 run comeback victory in the playoffs of 2007. after being down 21-0 against Sean Hernandez he came back with 22 runs to win the game.
National Championship 2007
Vanderloop made it to the 2007 National Championship by default after Trevor Penrose dropped out. Vanderloop lost in the semi-finals. It was suposed to an easy sweep for Sean Hernandez in the 2007 National Championship. Oh boy it wasn't Adam Vanderloop took the first two games of the 2007 National Championship Then Hernandez took the next two and won it in game 6 17-4. but Vanderloop did put up a fight. right then and there people noticed that this guy is going to one of the Wiffleball Greats. He had an article written about him in the Los Angeles Times.
He was a rising sensation.
2007 2on2 Championship
After the tough loss to Sean Hernandez it was time for the 2on2 championship which they do every other year. Adam Vanderloop was teamed up with Blythe Curry. There team name was the Detroit Hawks. They went against Sean Hernandez and Michael Dallas (North Hawaii) Detriot took the first game but unfortunately North Hawaii won the series in 5 games. Experience does matter in wiffleball.
Controversy with Michael Dallas
In late September of 2007 Michael Dallas challenged Vanderloop in a pickup wiffleball game at the park. It was a private park so the media couldn't find them. Vanderloop won 3-0, Michael Dallas thought it was only 2 innings of play but it was really 3 innings a regulation wiffleball game. The two players harsh exchanged words which led up to Adam pushing Mike over a wall. Dallas thretened to call the police and sue. No charges were forced and the two remained in the league.
2008 Sophomore Season
Adam Vanderloop lost his first game of the 2008 season 9-4 against Sean Hernandez. He had an okay 2008 season he went 8-10 but he did have 82 k's. He played his final 2008 regular season game on June 29th, 2008. Adam Vanderloop qualified for the 2008 playoffs. He was ready to play.
2008 Playoffs
In 2007 Vanderloop gave up 28 runs in the Playoffs against Jonathan Gonzalez which was a playoff record. But in 2008 he swept Gonzalez and moved on to the Semi's for the 2nd year in a row. Vanderloop faced Blythe Curry in the '08 Semi-Finals he won in the 1st game 4-3 in extra innings and he took the 2nd game 1-0 to move on to the 2008 National Championship. There was a lot of conroversy saying that Vanderloop was threatning Curry.
2008 National Championship
Adam Vanderloop was back in the finals once again vs. Sean Hernandez these two were rivals. Adam Vanderloop won game 1 15-13 with a walkoff homerun.

2009 Record
On May 17th, 2009 Adam Vanderloop broke the all time K'S record of 170 k's he hit 171 against Sean Hernandez on a Very Warm May day.
2009 Playoffs
On July 12th, 2009 Adam Vanderloop will play Chris Fernandez in Round 1 p.o.#1 of the playoffs GAME 1. He is highly expected to go to the National Championship for his 3rd time.
