Adam Schuck

Adam Schuck is a software engineer and an "entrepreneur".
Education
Schuck received the University Medal for his Bachelor of Computer Science with Honours from the University of New South Wales.
He received Honours in his thesis in Machine Learning: "Hierarchical Reinforcement Learning.
Career
Schuck worked on Google Maps, having co-created Mapplets in 2007.
Schuck “co-founded Google Wave”,an online real-time collaborative editing tool, and held the title “Senior Software Engineering Team Leader”.
Schuck received the Google EMG award (2nd highest award given at Google) for work on Google Maps API
Lars Rasmussen, the software developer who developed Google Maps, said of Schuck in the Google IO video “Adam is the best engineer I’ve ever worked with”.
Schuck was one of the “6 entrepreneurs” who co-founded “SnappSchool” in April 2011.
Schuck left Google in November 2009 to join Julpan, where he was a Tech Lead and Architect in the co-founding team of 5 engineers. Julpan was acquired by Twitter in September 2011.
Schuck is the co-founder and organizer of the Down Under / New York Tech Meetup (DUNY). Schuck is the ACM Programming Competition World Finalist and South Pacific Champion, 2003 and 2004.
