A limited liability company, ACF Car Finance Limited specialise in the supply of used cars via a dealership network in England. Its customers mainly comprise individuals who have failed to obtain finance from banks and other mainstream lenders, and are seeking a source of sub-prime loans. These loans are provided by The Funding Corporation, which is parent company to ACF Car Finance, subject to customers satisfying the lending criteria and affordability assessment. The Funding Corporation was established in 2001 by a group of former senior managers from the Bank of Scotland. ACF Car Finance conforms to the Code of Conduct laid out by industry body, The Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMI), being an active Independent Garages Association member. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) also accredits ACF Car Finance as the first specialist sub-prime car dealer to become a member. |
