Abel Developments Ltd is a house building company, concentrating on building new homes in Norfolk, United Kingdom on smaller developments. It was set up around 2002 and is a family run business. Its recent development sites were at Tacolneston, Castle Acre, Attleborough and Dereham with plans for more houses in the near future. Housing Style The housing design that Abels build is of English Georgian era style housing but with a modern look as to add white paint and/or flat tiling. When the company started out they mostly built larger family homes with high internal specification such as underfloor heating but have now changed their strategy by building smaller houses and developments with the main target of first time buyers and investors. The type of land that they seek to build upon is of brown-field status sites. The architects are mostly local who know the area to which the houses would “fit in”.
