Abdumalik Mirakhmedov

Abdumalik Mutalovich Mirakhmedov (, born 6 August 1977 in Tashkent) is an entrepreneur, ATK Holdings founder.
Biography
Origin and education
Abdumalik Mirakhmedov was born on 6 August 1977 in Tashkent (Uzbekistan SSR, nowadays Republic of Uzbekistan). His mother, Zukhra Mirakhmedova, works as a pediatrician-neonatologist, and his father Mutal Mirakhmedov is a businessman and has a degree in Asian Studies. Abdumalik graduated from the University of Essex in 2000 with a degree in Economics.
Business
ENRC
In 2001-2003 Mirakhmedov worked for Swiss Alloy 2000, the exclusive distributor of ferroalloys produced by ENRC (Eurasian Natural Resources Corporation). Mirakhmedov was responsible for ferroalloy sales on the markets of Europe and the Mediterranean Countries. In 2004-2010 Mirakhmedov was the head of ENRC China, in 2010-2015 he was Vice-president for Sales of ENRC Marketing AG, then CEO of ENRC Marketing AG and ENRC Logistics. Apart from that he took the post of executive committee member of the ENRC PLC head office in London.
ATK Holdings
In 2016, Mirakhmedov set up ATK Holdings, one of the biggest international commodity trading companies. Area of business of ATK Holdings is purchasing minerals (including, but not limited to non-ferrous metals) from the manufacturers (UGMK, UK ZARECHNAYA and KAZ Minerals) on the territory of the former Soviet Union and exporting them worldwide. ATK Holdings carries out trading operations with a variety of metals and minerals; as stated by Mr. Mirakhmedov, credit lines amounting to 45 billion US dollars have been opened for the company.
Multipoint Investments
In 2017, Mirakhmedov created an investment company Multipoint Investments.
Business areas: investments in distressed assets and special situations, restructuring and management of distressed assets.
Powerry
In 2019, Mirakhmedov and partners founded a technology company and registered the Powerry brand. Powerry is a vertically integrated data and cloud service provider.
Other activity
Mirakhmedov actively invests in the agricultural sector of Kazakhstan and other CIS countries (plant growing, cattle breeding), as well as in funds specializing in high technology. He takes part in various conferences and forums of in Kazakhstan and worldwide, including International Mining and Metallurgical Congress.
